Explanation

Field capacity and permanent wilting point are different properties that depend on the type of soil. Crops are affected by these points but do not define the difference between them. Seasons can change moisture levels but do not change the inherent physical property difference. Regions might have different soils, but the difference is a soil characteristic itself.
