Mitochondria are the primary site of ATP formation through cellular respiration. Chloroplasts form ATP during photosynthesis, but mitochondria are also major sites. Golgi bodies are involved in modifying and packaging proteins, not main ATP production. RNA is a nucleic acid molecule and does not produce ATP.
