Genotypic correlation is the appropriate measure for estimating correlations from error variances and covariances. Phenotypic correlation includes environmental effects not accounted for by this estimation method. Simple correlation is a general term that does not specifically refer to variance/covariance estimation in genetics. Environmental correlation is not the standard term used for this type of genetic estimation.
