Explanation

Sterilization is the process that kills most or all microorganisms. Heating can kill some microbes but might not achieve complete killing. Pasteurization only reduces pathogens to safe levels, it does not kill everything. Neutralization involves chemical reactions and is not a general term for killing organisms.
