Baluchistan is generally reported to have the lowest Human Development Index (HDI) among Pakistani provinces. Punjab has a higher HDI due to better development indicators. Sindh's HDI is typically higher than Baluchistan's but lower than some other regions. KPK's HDI is also usually higher than that of Baluchistan.
