General Qamar Javed Bajwa was the Chief of Army Staff who hoisted the flag for this event. Shehbaz Sharif did not hold the position at that time. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was not the Prime Minister during the 70th anniversary celebration. President Mamnoon Hussain was also not the person credited with hoisting the largest flag.
