Explanation

Gravity is the force that pulls the atmosphere towards the Earth's surface. Winds are movements of air, not the holding force itself. Clouds are visible masses of water droplets within the atmosphere and do not hold it. The rotation of the Earth causes effects like Coriolis force but does not hold the entire atmosphere.
