Explanation

Methane is the main component of biogas because it is produced during anaerobic digestion. Hydrogen is a minor component and not the main constituent. Oxygen is generally absent in biogas as it requires anaerobic conditions for formation. Carbon dioxide is present but significantly less abundant than methane.
