Explanation

A binocular is an instrument for viewing with both eyes but not specifically for 3D pictures. A camera records images but does not inherently provide a 3D view to the viewer. An epidiascope is not the standard term for viewing 3D pictures. A stereoscope is specifically designed to allow viewing of three-dimensional images.
