Explanation

Saliva contains salivary amylase which digests starch. Proteins are digested by enzymes in the stomach and small intestine. Lipids are generally digested by bile and lipase in the small intestine. Fats are a general term for lipids, but digestion primarily occurs later in the digestive tract.
