Explanation

Bifocal lenses are designed to correct the focusing issue of presbyopia. Convex lenses increase the refractive power for nearsightedness but not specifically for age-related focus issues. Concave lenses are used to correct hyperopia and farsightedness, which is opposite to what's needed in presbyopia. Cylindrical lenses correct astigmatism.
