Explanation

In January 2026, President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan was conferred Bahrain’s highest civilian award, the Order of Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa First Class, by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during his official visit to Manama. This honour acknowledged his role in strengthening ties between Pakistan and Bahrain.
