Malaysia and Indonesia were the countries that shut down schools due to haze from forest fires in September 2019. South Korea and North Korea are not known for this event. Thailand and Vietnam did not report shutting thousands of schools over this specific haze incident. Myanmar and Bhutan are not associated with this particular event.
