Abdur Rehman bin Khaldun is widely recognized for being a historian, philosopher, and sociologist. Shams ud din bin Khalkan is not primarily known by these roles. Abu Bakar Muhammad Yahya does not fit this description in general historical knowledge. Muhammad bin Essa's primary field of expertise is not broadly listed as encompassing all four roles.
