Eligibility
Charge Nurse applicants must be female or female transgender candidates domiciled in any district of Punjab. The Veterinary Officer and both Assistant Director posts are open to male, female and transgender candidates with Punjab domicile. Age and sex of transgender candidates are based on the contents of their CNIC. Employees of Federal Government, Semi-Government or Autonomous Bodies of the Federal Government and Local Bodies are not entitled to age concession for that service period. Candidates must have obtained or applied for PEC, PNC, PMDC, PMC or PVMC registration on or before the closing date, as the post requires.
City / Domicile Applicability
Charge Nurse and both Assistant Director posts: domicile of any district of the Province of the Punjab, posting anywhere in Punjab. Veterinary Officer: Punjab domicile, posting across all Punjab.
Selection and Important Conditions
All four cases have one MCQ-type written paper of 100 marks and 90 minutes, and the syllabus is qualification-related questions (100%). Shorthand, Typing and Proficiency tests, where required, are held only at Lahore. Equivalence claims need an HEC or departmental QEDC equivalence certificate, produced at interview or when asked - failure cancels candidature. Private-firm experience must be proved at interview by showing the firm was registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms or another regulatory authority during the claimed period. In-service candidates must have obtained or applied for NOC/DPC. Marks obtained/total or percentage certificates are required for all degrees - CGPA is not acceptable. If the department increases or decreases the number of posts, no fresh applications will be invited.
PNC registration relief for Charge Nurse: candidates who applied to PNC for registration of their Diploma or B.Sc. Nursing Generic on or before the closing date, but whose cards were issued after the closing date or have not yet been issued, are provisionally held eligible subject to documentary evidence stamped and signed by the competent PNC authority. Candidates who applied to PNC for renewal of an expired registration card after the closing date are also held eligible.
