IT and computer science graduates, MBBS doctors, mass communication graduates, public administration and economics postgraduates, and general graduates holding a Sindh domicile with the relevant rural or urban quota.
Candidate Guidance
Thirty-two of the 54 posts are Medical Officer (male) seats in the Home Department, so this advertisement is dominated by one cadre; the Lady Medical Officer cadre is separate with four seats. Your rural or urban quota matters as much as merit here, and once you select it on the form it cannot be changed after the closing date. The fee is a flat Rs. 500 challan generated through a PSID, and one challan covers all categories of a single post. Always confirm eligibility, dates, fees and application rules on the official SPSC website before you apply or pay any fee.
Verification Notes
Transcribed from the official SPSC Consolidated Advertisement No. 05/2026 PDF on 2026-10-05 and cross-checked against the advertisement listing on spsc.gov.pk, which gives the same 23.10.2026 closing date. The PDF is a scan with no text layer, so all three pages were rendered and read directly; the eight serials sum to 54 posts. The research brief listed this item only as a source link with posts not extracted and suggested medium confidence; because the advertisement proved fully readable, the complete vacancy table, quotas, age bands, qualifications, the Rs. 500 fee and the application conditions are transcribed here and the record is marked high confidence.
